There is one central communication device at every site - the ONmaster. This device organises the local network to the ONsatellites to receive all the information from the different machines. The local communication between the ONmaster and the ONsatellites uses a unique radio communication developed by be|ON. There is no need to run cables through the site (wireless).
Once obtained, the ONmaster converts and encrypts the collected data. The ONmaster offers a variety of communication opportunities for the data communication to the ONserver system: DSL as well as GPRS/UMTS and HSDPA are supported.
